EAC Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongen graced the Silver Jubilee of Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) as the Special Guest at public ground, Kiphire on 24th September 2024.

In his speech, the Special Guest emphasized the role of Cricket in uniting people and fostering value such as discipline and team work, and urged for the development of sports infrastructure and greater inclusivity, calling for more opportunities for youths, women and people with disabilities respectively.

In his welcome address, President KDCA, Justin Khatomong T expressed gratitude to all the pioneers and officials who have contributed to the success of KDCA. He also provided a brief history of the association and its accomplishments over the last 25 years.

The programme was chaired by Hopila S Sangtam and the invocation was proposed by Pastor, Nepali Baptist Church, Kiphire, Bhim Saptoka. Special song was presented by Lumthise, while Joint Secretary KDCA, Rothrongse Sangtam administered the oath, followed by declaration of the matches by the Special Guest.
