Mahila Jan Sunwai, a nationwide outreach programme of The National Commision for Women to hear women’s grievances and ensure prompt redressal was conducted at DC’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu on 9th March 2026. 
During the event, Akokla Longchar, Member of Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) said that the outreach programme was organised to hear the grievances relating to women rights and domestic violence, maintenance harassment, property disputes, work place issue and other matters concerning the protection and welfare of women.
