In preparation for the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebrations, the Deputy Commissioner of Wokha has issued a circular announcing that a mass social work will be conducted in Wokha Town on August 13, 2025, starting from 7:00 AM onwards.

All District Heads of Department and the general public of Wokha have been requested to actively participate and organize the social work in their respective jurisdictions. District heads were further instructed to share photographic updates of the activity on the Wokha Government Servants WhatsApp Group and to submit attendance records to the DC's office.

The initiative aims to ensure cleanliness and foster community coordination ahead of the national celebration.
