Metümnyo festival was celebrated at Shamator on 8th August 2025. Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung graced the event as the special guest.
The Advisor shared the traditional values and importance of the Metümnyo festival. He encouraged the gathering to remember the importance of the life values practiced by their forefathers such as truth, simplicity and respect for elders. He extended his Metümnyo festival greetings to the people and wished them a prosperous season ahead.
The significance of Metümnyo festival was delivered by Shophu Khopong. Short speeches were delivered by DC Shamator, Chubatemjen; President ENSF, Nuheymong and vice president of YTC, H. Hanji. A special number was presented by Thrunso. Vote of thanks was proposed by president of the 11 wards of Shamator Town, Yansomong.
