Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B Henok Buchem, NCS, has issued a public circular announcing a Mock Drill on Civil Defence Preparedness scheduled for May 7, 2025 in Kohima. The exercise will take place from 4:00 P.M. onwards at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat area.

As part of the drill, emergency vehicles will sound sirens at exactly 4:00 P.M., marking the commencement of the exercise. Authorities have urged the general public not to panic upon hearing the sirens or witnessing any activity linked to the mock drill.

The DC has also appealed to citizens to extend their full cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of the exercise.
