In view of the monsoon season, on 17th July 2026 the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Noklak, P. Mono Khiamniungan issued precautionary advisory to ensure safety and well-being of the general public.

(a) Stay informed: Keep updated about weather conditions and forecast, the public may download Safer Nagaland application from Play store for weather updates.

(b) Avoid flooded areas.

(c) Be cautious while traveling. 

(d) To avoid traveling at night.

(e) To stay away from Power line.

(f) To look out for vulnerable individuals like elderly, children and people with special needs and extend required assistance.

(g) To report any emergency situation to the Control Room.
