World Day of Social Justice was observed on 20th February 2026, at DPDB Conference Hall Kiphire with Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer NCS addressing the occasion. The day is dedicated to tackling critical issues like poverty, exclusion, gender inequality, human rights and unemployment.
A special programme was organised by District Administration, Mission Shakti, Medical, (DISHA) District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee, Bureau of Health Information (BHI) and Non - Governmental Organisation (NGO'S) to mark the occasion.
