The Additional; Deputy Commissioner (ADC) cum Executive Officer, Chozuba Town Council, Zapuno Khatso, NCS has issued an order for total ban on all the following Single Use Plastics (SUP) regulations.

It further informed for strict implementation within Chozuba Town Council jurisdiction and in all the areas under Chozuba Sub- Division with effect from the date of issue of the notification.

1. Single Use Plastic (SUP) vide UDD notification dated 17th June, 2019.

All plastic carry bags with or without handles, irrespective of thickness and size.

Plastic cutleries including plates, cups, forks, spoons, straws etc.

Cutlery and other decorative made of Styrofoam (Thermocol).

Polythene.

Nylon.

Poly Vinyl Carbohydrates (PVC).

Poly Propylene and Poly styrene.

2. Single Use Plastic (SUP) items vide UDD notification dated 6th December, 2020.

Use of Flex Banner/ Boards/ Posters by Departments/ Institutions/ Government agencies during functions/ programmes.

3. SUP items vide UDD notification dated 11th March, 2022

Ear buds with plastic sticks, plastic sticks for ballons, plastic flags, candy sticks, ice-cream sticks, polystyrene (Thermocol) for decoration.

Plates, cups, forks, spoons, knives, straws, trays, wrappings or packing films around sweet boxes, invitation cards and cigarettes packets, plastic or poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) banners less than 100 microns, stirrers.

4. Plastic item vide UDD notification dated 29th November, 2018.

Total ban on packaged drinking plastic bottles below 20 litres capacity for meeting, functions, seminars or personal consumptions.
