As per the direction of DC & DEO Mokokchung order NO.ELE/CDT-1/2022-2023/127 dated Mokokchung the 24th February 2023 ADC Tuli Shaying Sheu redirected in office order No.Tuli/ELE-1/2023/17 Dt.Tuli the 25/02/2023 regarding the imposition of section 126 of the Representation of the People Act 1951 for the prohibition of public meetings during a period of 48 hrs ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of poll. Further section 144 CrPC read with section 126 of the Representation of the People Act 1951 which is self-explanatory. ADC Tuli has ordered that the imposition shall be extended to all the areas of the Mokokchung district and shall come into effect from 4:00 pm of 25 February 2023 and remain in force till the hour fixed for the conclusion of the poll.

Regarding the voters' info slip under Tuli 21 a/c. Voters' Information Slip will not be allowed as the proof of identity of voters, it was only prepared and issued to facilitate voters to know their serial no. of electoral roll in their polling station, date of poll, and time. The notice informed that all the eligible voters shall present his/her epic or any of the following identification documents as approved by ECI (1) ADHAAR card. (2) MNREGA job card. (3) Passbook with photograph issued by bank/post office. (4) Health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of mol. (5) Driving license (6) Pan card. (7) Smart card issued by RGI under NPR. (8) Indian passport. (9) Pension documents with a photograph. (10) Service identity card issued by central/state govt. (11) Official identity card issued to MPs/MLAs. (12) Unique disability id (UDID) card MOSJ & empowerment GOI.
