The HSSLC Examination 2023 will commence from 9th March 2023 till 31st March 2023 and HSLC Examination 2023 from 10th March 2023 to 22nd March 2023.
In HSSLC Examination, a total of 16084 candidates are enrolled (Arts-12431, Commerce-1214, and Science-2439) and will be appearing from 65 provisional examination centers. Out of 16085 candidates, 7612 are boys and 8473 are girls.
The timing of the HSLC examination is from 9:00 am to 12 noon for 80/70 marks and 2 hours for 50 marks.
The Class XI Promotion Examination 2023 shall be conducted simultaneously with HSSLC in the afternoon from 9th March 2023 to 31st March 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
24361 candidates will be appearing in the HSLC Examination 2023 from 96 provisional examination centres. Out of 24360 candidates, 11197 are boys and 13164 are girls.
On 21st February 2023, the Board had an online meeting with all the Centre Superintendents where their duties and responsibilities were discussed in detail. They were also briefed to conduct the examination with fairness following the instructions given by the Board. “Rules for the conduct of HSLC & HSSLC Examinations” is made available on the Board’s website www.nbsenl.edu.in.
Candidates are required to bring their Original Admit Cards to the examination hall/room on all the days of the examination. Candidates are also requested to read the question paper carefully before they start to write the answers. Answers to the questions should be written keeping in mind the marks allotted to them.
Candidates are to note the following permitted items and barred items:
PERMITTED ITEMS
- Admit Card, School Identity Card
- Stationery items i.e. Transparent Pouch, Geometry/Pencil Box, Blue/Royal Blue Ball Point/Gel Pen, Scale, Writing Board, Eraser, Analogue Watch, and Transparent Water Bottles.
- Bus card
BARRED ITEMS
- Any stationery item – such as textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Calculator, Pen Drives, Electronics Pen/Scanner, etc.
- Any communication device – such as Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Camera, etc.
- Items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Pouches, etc.
- Any eatable item opened or packed, except for diabetic candidates.
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means.
The Board reiterated that candidates must shade/darken the roll number on the front page of the OMR of the Answer book correctly/properly.
Candidates are reminded to maintain discipline and refrain from any kind of mal-practices during examinations. The Board cautioned that anyone resorting to unfair means in the examinations will be dealt with as per the rules of the Board. Candidates are advised to reach the examination center in time by moving out from home early.
