In compliance with the directive issued by the Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) for a mass social work initiative, the Office of the Jakhama Sub-Division conducted a cleanliness drive on 21st June 2025.

During the drive, government offices and members of the public actively participated in cleaning office compounds, educational institutions, highways, public footpaths and drainage systems across various locations. In Jakhama Town, the activity was carried out under the supervision of the SDO (Civil), while at the village level, the cleanliness efforts were overseen by the respective Village Councils.
