With the announcement of the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 by the Election Commission of India through a press conference dated 18th January 2023, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has informed all concerned that the Model Code of Conduct comes into force with immediate effect throughout Phek District. 

Therefore, all Political Parties, Intending Candidates, government departments/establishments, and the general public have been informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the Model Code of Conduct and extend cooperation to the District Election Machinery to ensure the peaceful conduct of the Election.
