Deputy Commissioner and DEO Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed village councils and land owners that in view of the General Election to the State Legislative Assembly, 2023, the Telecom Service Providers in the State have reported about restrictions from Village Councils and land owners on running of generators during power cuts which in turn has affected the running of the network system.

The DC has requested all the chairmen of the village councils and landowners under Kohima District to abstain from putting any sort of restriction on the running of generators during power cuts so as to avoid disruptions in internet and telecommunication services.
