Consequent upon the announcement of the schedule for the General Election in the State, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, has directed all Head of Offices and all the government employees under Mokokchung District to be in station with immediate effect.

All Head of Offices are directed to ensure their presence and also their subordinate officers and staff in their respective place of posting. Permission for station leave on official duty should be obtained from the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, with clear and specific details.

Any government employee on leave of absence on Medical ground shall be recalled for appearing in person before the Medical Board. Disciplinary action shall be initiated against any errant officials as per the provision of the Law.
