DC & DEO Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS has clarified and reiterated that as press release No.ELE/CDT-171/2023 dated 21st February 2023 from Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland, the provisions for exemption of office bearer (s) of the political party in charge of the state applied only for staying in state HQ, ic, Kohima and not in District. In this regard, the continued presence of such office bearers of any political parties in 12 AC Tseminyu will be a clear violation of the commission's SOP for the last 48 hours till counting as well as the earlier state press note from the chief Electoral officer Nagaland and shall invite appropriate sanction. In this regard, all candidates/political parties have been reminded to comply with this office order No.DCT/ELEC-32/L&O/2022/248 dated 24th February 2023.
