Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that due to the mudslide and road subsidence at several locations along NH 202 in and around Chare Town, the movement of heavy and medium vehicles on this stretch have been restricted with immediate effect, until clearance and restoration work is completed.

Furthermore, travellers commuting to and from the district have been advised to take the following alternative routes 

1. Trongar- Alisopur- Longmisa- Mokochung.
2. Yangli- New Sangsangmong- Yehemi- Suruhoto.
3. Tuensang Village- Longleng- Changtongya.
