DC VISITS WANGKHAO GOVERNMENT COLLEGE  

Deputy Commissioner, Mon & Chairman WGC, Advisory board, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, visited the Wangkhao Government College campus on 30th July, 2022 accompanied by the incumbent outgoing Principal Dr. I Wati Imchen and incoming Principal Dr. Chandrasekaran on the sideline of the farewell programme of the outgoing Principal.

The team inspected the management and condition of the college infrastructure and interacted with the faculty members of WGC. Deputy Commissioner Mon in his speech emphasised on early goal setting, importance of shaping one’s personality and remembering our roots and contribute to the society.

He also extended congratulated the WGC for their laudable achievement of acquiring the coveted B+ grade in their very first NAAC assessment and exhorted the college to set lofty goals while also continuing to work in unison and coordination. Further, he advised the college to be more accommodative and enroll more students through an all-round infrastructure development/improvement.
