The Draft Electoral Roll 2026 for 1-Dimapur-I, 2-Dimapur-II and 3-Dimapur-III Assembly Constituencies under Dimapur district was published on September 20 in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Photo Electoral Roll, with October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Dimapur, the draft electoral roll had been made available for viewing and inspection at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of the respective Assembly Constituencies and with Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

Citizens were informed that claims for inclusion of names and objections to the inclusion of names, as well as objections to particulars in the Draft Electoral Roll, could be lodged on or before October 20, 2026. Claims and objections were to be submitted in Form 6 with Annexure IV (Declaration Form), Form 7 or Form 8, as applicable, to the respective Electoral Registration Officers.

The list of claims and objections was also to be made available on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, and displayed on the notice boards of the EROs and Election Branch on all working days.
