In pursuance of Para-51 of the Right to Persons with Disabilities Act, 2026, and Para-16 of P&AR Department notification No. AR-3/Gen-9/97 dated 13.08.2020, the Health & Family Welfare Department is designated as the Competent Authority for the issue of Disability Certificates for all purposes of employment, education, and availing of all provisions given to Persons with Disabilities from time to time.
