The Longleng District Administration has notified that in view of continuous rock fall, mudflow & landslides occurring at several stretches along Chantongya-Longleng National Highway-702, movement of all kinds of vehicles including Light Motor Vehicles (LMVS), along the aforementioned route has been restricted from 6:00 P.M. 12th of August 2023 (Saturday) to 6:00 A.M 14th of August 2023 (Monday).

All the travelers have been advised to avoid taking the said route and to take alternate route during the restricted period. Travelers are advised to take the alternate route: Longleng- Chingtok (IR Camp) -Merangkong -  Netnyu.
