In connection with the announcement of the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 by the Election Commission of India dated 18th January 2023, the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Longleng Dharam Raj has informed all concerned that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) comes into force with immediate effect throughout Longleng district till the culmination of the election process. 

All the political parties, intending candidates, government departments/establishments, and the general public of Longleng district have been informed to take note of the same and adhere strictly to the Model Code of Conduct and extend cooperation to the election machinery to ensure peaceful conduct of the said election.
