On September 13, 2023, District Sports Officer Mokokchung, Anguvito Sumi announced the organization of an Inter High School Tournament. This tournament will take place in the discipline of Sepaktakraw (Regu Event) and is open to both Boys and Girls.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in the first week of October 2023.

All High Schools within Mokokchung District have been requested to confirm their participation in the tournament on or before September 22, 2023.

The two best teams (one Boys' team and one Girls' team) from Mokokchung District will have the honor of representing the district at the State Level Tournament, set to take place at IG Stadium, Kohima, from October 16th to 19th, 2023.

Tournament Rules: Each team must comprise 5 players, along with a Manager and Coach. Participants are required to present their Aadhar Card and a bonafide student certificate duly certified by the Head of the Institution during the verification process. Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided as per the Government-approved rates for those participating in the State Level Tournament.

Prizes for the District Level Tournament: 1st Prize- Rs. 5000/- (Boys and Girls) and 2nd Prize- Rs. 3000/- (Boys and Girls)
