The District Advisory Committee of MY Bharat, Longleng District, held a pivotal co-ordination meeting at the DPDB Hall, Longleng on 9th September 2026, under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Longleng, Thungchanbemo Tungoe, NCS.

The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the District Administration, Education Department, officials of Yingli College, Higher Secondary Schools, NSS Programme Officers and MY Bharat District Youth Officer Kishore Dulam.

Highlighting the critical imperative to empower local youth, Additional Deputy Commissioner Longleng, Thungchanbemo Tungoe NCS, emphasized strengthening grassroots youth engagement and maximizing youth participation in state and national-level developmental initiatives.

District Youth Officer, Kishore Dulam, briefed the house on the upcoming Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, outlining the multi-stage talent search that opens direct pathways for youth from Longleng to represent Nagaland at the National Youth Festival in New Delhi on 12th January 2027.

To ensure widespread participation and robust youth development across Longleng district, the meeting finalized key Action Points:

Entry Gateway & Quiz Specifics: The foundational 600-second, 20-question online quiz serves as the mandatory Stage-I entry point. The official MY Bharat Portal (mybharat.gov.in) and mobile application remain the exclusive digital platform for youth aged 15 to 29 to register and participate.

Selection Progression: High-scoring youth clearing the Stage-I online quiz will progress through essay submissions (Stage-II) and District/State Presentations (Stage-III & IV) before domain experts, leading to final policy presentations directly to the Prime Minister during the National Youth Festival.

Institutional Mobilization & Helpdesks: Establishment of student helpdesks across institutions—including Yingli College and local higher secondary schools—to assist students with profile creation, registration, and accessing verified career roadmaps.

Digital Career Ecosystem: Promotion of MY Bharat’s digital tools, including the automatic CV Builder, domain mentorship, direct linkages to the PM Internship Scheme, and 60-Hour Experiential Learning Programs (ELPs) with government departments to bridge academic knowledge with practical operations.

Authentic Information Drives: Dissemination of verified information regarding registration, internship schemes, and selection processes exclusively through official, authenticated channels to prevent misinformation.

The District Advisory Committee requested all educational institutions, NSS units, local youth bodies, and district youth clubs across Longleng to execute aggressive awareness drives and classroom campaigns. The administration called for coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to secure maximum youth mobilization from Longleng district through the national stage on 12 January 2027.
