As part of the Hornbill Festival 2022, the Department of Women Resource Development will be celebrating MykiFest 2022 at Sakhrie Park, A.G Colony on the 6th & 7th of December 2022 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

MykiFest is the premier event of the Department, launched during 2017-18, to recognize women as equal partners in the socioeconomic development of society as well as to celebrate the activities and achievements of women entrepreneurs, artisans, artists, cultivators, and various women organizations. 

This year's (2022) MykiFest celebration includes showcasing and selling Myki & other women entrepreneurs’ products, a live demo on food preparation of selected food, and a live performance by the BRAHMOS Band.

The main event of the programme will feature the MykiFest Open Solo Singing Competition (English) for females of 18 years and above. 

Audition for the Mykifest Solo competition will be held on 6th December 2022 from 11:00 AM onwards, while the finals will be held on 7th September from 3.30 PM onwards.

Participants willing to compete may submit applications addressed to the Deputy Director, Women Resource Development during office hours or through email at mykinagaland@gmail.com or Whatsapp at 879870094 on or before 8:00 pm on 4th December 2022.
