The State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (SCPD) has initiated a Suo Motu Inquiry directed at the Municipal Affairs Department regarding the implementation of the 5% reservation for persons with disabilities in Housing Schemes within the State.
NAGALAND DECLARED AS LUMPY SKIN DISEASE (LDS) POSITIVE STATE
In light of positive cases of Lumpy Skin Disease (LDS) detected in four districts of the state, Nagaland has been officially declared as a Lumpy Skin Disease (LDS) positive state.

NBSE DECLARES HSLC & HSSLC COMPARTMENTAL RESULTS
The Nagaland Board of School Education has announced the provisional results of the HSLC & HSSLC Compartmental & Improvement Examination 2023, conducted from 22nd June 2023 to 28th June 2023.
In the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2023, 1510 candidates appeared, and 658 candidates passed, with a pass percentage of 43.58%.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING FOR LIVELIHOOD TO BE ORGANIZED AT CHOZUBA
The District Industries Centre (DIC), Chozuba, in collaboration with Kudatech Skill Centre, Dimapur, will be conducting a two-week skill development training on 'Fibre Extraction and Handicrafts' for livelihood opportunities. The training is tentatively scheduled to commence on 25th July 2023 at DIC, Chozuba.
DoSE DESIGNATES NODAL OFFICERS
The Directorate of School Education has issued a notification designating all District Education Officers as Nodal Officers responsible for ensuring the implementation of the provisions of the Rights of Children with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, and Rule 7 of RPwD Rules, 2017, with immediate effect.
