Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, A. Narayanaswamy visited Wokha on 19th May 2023. The purpose of his visit was to review the centrally sponsored schemes under the Wokha district.

Hekani Jakhalu MLA and Advisor of Industries and Commerce Department on her maiden visit to Delhi on 17th May 2023 called on the Union Minister of MSME Narayan Tatu Rane and Union Minister of State MSME, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. The members discussed various issues of the MSME sector and growth potentials in the State. The Advisor submitted a number of proposals that would help to promote and improve the MSME landscape in the State.

The Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that new admissions for Class XI in all the Government Higher Secondary Schools functioning in Nagaland will commence from 25th May 2023 and the following directives have been issued for strict compliance.

In view of the conduct of the upcoming General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2024, the Election Commission of India has already allocated the required quantity of EVMs & VVPATs to be used in all the 2315 existing polling stations in Nagaland.
