Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Noklak K. Mhathung Tsanglao informed all concerned who have applied Form 12 and Form 12D for the Postal Ballot that the tentatively scheduled dates for the casting of votes are indicated below:

It was brought to the attention of DEO Longleng that some Candidates were engaged in unauthorized campaigning or rallies and had not adhered to the prescribed schedule for camping events. All the candidates were reminded to seek permission from the returning officer before holding campaign events. Failure to do so may result in penalties or other consequences.

Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS has notified that a prohibition order on the sale and use of Tobacco products within 100 meters of any Hospital premises, Community Health Centers (CHC), and Primary Health Centers (PHC) has been put into effect from 1st February 2023. The authorized personnel in charge of the said premises have been asked to take appropriate action against any defaulters within their jurisdiction.
