Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed that in view of the heavy traffic congestion in and around Kohima town, especially during peak traffic hours, entry of heavy goods vehicles (trucks/dumpers) into Kohima town has been strictly prohibited from 6:00 AM till 7:00 PM.

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (PHED) INFORMS KOHIMA PUBLIC
The Executive Engineer (PHED), Kohima Urban Division, Er. Supongyanger, in a notification Dated 24th August 2022 has informed the general public within Kohima Municipal jurisdiction that the water supply to Kohima Town will be briefly interrupted in the subsequent days ahead due to maintenance work at Box Cutting, near Kohima War Cemetery. Therefore the EE has requested the general public to bear the inconveniences.
DOSE INFORMS UG HINDI TEACHER APPLICANTS
The Directorate School Education has issued a reminder notice to all the applicants for the post of Under Graduate Hindi Teacher who are yet to submit the front page of their Bank Passbook for reimbursement of the fees. They may email an image or a scanned copy of the front page of their Bank Passbook to dsehindi@gmail.com on or before 30th August 2022. It further stated that post this date, no reimbursement claim will be entertained.
DC MOKOKCHUNG INFORMS ON DIKHU RIVER BAILEY BRIDGE
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS has informed that the Bailey bridge of the Dikhu river under National Highway – 202 along the Mokokchung – Tuensang stretch is under duress pressure and it is observed that many transport/heavy vehicles have been transporting beyond the admissible limit. The said Bailey bridge is in a dilapidated condition and poses a greater risk of damage if left unchecked.
