Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) cum Administrator of Chozuba Town Council, Imokokla had informed all interested residents of Chozuba to avail a one-time Cesspool Truck facility for a limited duration.

In commemoration of World Environment Day 2022, the Chozuba sub-division would organize Mega Tree Plantation on the theme “One Person, One Tree” along with the Phek district on 4th June. 

To curb the illegal collection of money from the vehicles on the roads, the State Government has issued several directives in the past. Reports, however, continue to be received alleging illegal collection of money from vehicles on roads and at various check gates by organizations, groups, government agencies, private individuals, etc.

In view of the report by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services regarding the outbreak of African Swine Flu Disease in Longleng District and neighbouring districts of Assam, DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS on 17th May 2022 issued an order banning the sale/slaughter of pigs and import of pigs from outside the District till further directives. 

The Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports has informed that the National Sports Academy Management Committee, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal, Manipur will be having a Selection Test/Recruitment of students for admission to the National Sports Academy, Imphal, Manipur for the session 2022-2023 in Class VI for the disciplines of Archery, Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
