The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has notified under Article 190 clause 3(b) of the Indian Constitution read with Rule 180 Clause (1) (2) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly has accepted the resignations tendered by Er. Picto Shohe, NDPP from 32-Atoizu A/C; Amenba Yaden, NDPP from 21-Tuli A/C and L. Khumo, NDPP from 57-Thonoknyu A/C from the Membership of the Thirteenth Nagaland Assembly with effect from the forenoon of the 2nd February 2023.

Further, the Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly also accepted the resignations of Dr. Chotisuh Sazo of NDPP from 18- Chazouba, Er. Zale Neikha of NDPP from15- Southern Angami-II, Yitachu of NDPP from 20- Meluri,  Keneizhakho Nakhro of  NDPP from 8- Western Angami, Azheto Zhimomi of NDPP from 3- Dimapur-III and Y.M. Yollow Konyak of NDPP from 42- Wakching from the Thirteenth Nagaland Assembly with effect from the forenoon of the 3 February, 2023.

Consequent to their resignation, the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly has declared the seats mentioned against their names as vacant.
