111 Bn BSF celebrated 58th BSF Raising Day on 1st December 2022 with pomp and glory at Satakha. The Raising Day celebrations commenced with a Cultural Programme showcasing the rich heritage of the Force followed by a feast during which Ex-CAPF personnel, families of BSF Martyrs, and Civil Dignitaries were invited. All the Battalion personnel participated. Sanjay Tandan, Commandant, 111 BSF welcomed all the distinguished guests present on the occasion and gave a historical perspective of the raising of the Border Security Force, the pivotal role played, and its immense contribution to all facets of National Security right from the day of its raising. The esteemed gathering was also apprised that the tremendous potential of the BSF is backed by resolute action and determination due to which the Force has been bestowed with the status of a Dependable Warrior and will always live up to its motto of "Jeevan Paryant Kartavya."
