Implementing Support Agency (ISA), PHED Tuensang Division, Alongphi welfare society, conducted a one-day block-level workshop on Village Functionaries and FTK Users on 15th December 2022 at Shamator Block.

As a part of the ongoing Jal Jeevan Mission Awareness, Implementing support Agency, PHED Tuensang Division, Alongphi Welfare Society, and PHED Tuensang Division organized one day Block level workshop on Jal Jeevan Mission under Shamator District 15th December 2022 with the Theme "Source water conservation and its sustainability in rural areas."

In the workshop Jal Jeevan Mission Pre-Implementing villages (yet to start JJM), Implementing villages (ongoing) and Post-Implementing villages (completed villages) from Shamator block participated.

During the training Er. Lanu PHED Tuensang talked on the topic of Community participation in JJM and source sustainability responsibility of lies in the Community.

Changkiuba ISA field Executive talked about the main theme of the workshop- how villagers need to start conservation of sources through the preservation of forests from deforestation and Jhum cultivation practices in the source areas, ISA team highlighted how operation and maintenance and safe drinking water quality, regular checking of water quality through Field Testing Kits (FTK).

The trainees were WATSAN Committee/village council members.
