A one-day workshop cum training programme for Sector Magistrates and Teams for Static Surveillance and Flying Squads was conducted in the official chamber of ADC & Returning Officer for 12 AC Tseminyu on 10th January 2023 at Deputy Commissioner Office Complex Tseminyu HQ.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS exhorted the officers to take up election duties and responsibilities as a challenge for setting good precedence as a new district. He encouraged the officers that despite the shortfall of manpower in the district, working together as a team brings out a tangible and effective result, he added.

Superintendent of Police, Tseminyu Temjensenla Jamir, IPS reminded the crucial role played by magistrates of FST and SST as pivotal in election expenditure monitoring. She also exhorted the officers present to exhibit sound leadership skills and sincerity in guiding their respective teams. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer for 12 AC Tseminyu, Longasen Lotha highlighted that sector officers and magistrates are the lynchpins for the peaceful and successful conduct of elections. 

Tumben P. Tsanlao, EAC, and Assistant Election Officer Tseminyu as a resource person for the training programme gave power point presentations on vulnerability mapping by sector officers, magistrates for flying squads and static surveillance teams, and the various reporting channels and formats throughout the electioneering process. The participants engaged with queries proactively throughout the sessions.
