Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Peren, Vineet Kumar in a press release has informed that the Election Commissioner of India through its press note No ECI/PN/1/2023 dated 18th January 2023 has announced the schedule for conduct of the General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election

Consequent to the announcement of the General Election, the model code of conduct comes into effect immediately. All the provisions of the Model Code of conduct will apply to the whole of the District concerning all Candidates, Political Parties the State Government, and Union Government.
