In pursuance of the ECI guidelines, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima Shanavas C has in a notification informed all the Polling Personnel, police personnel, and others drafted in election duty for the ensuing General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, that following venues are notified as Facilitation Centres for the casting of votes through Postal Ballots. It is informed that postal ballots will be cast at the facilitation centers as per the dates for the different categories of personnel at the location as mentioned in the schedule.

The notification further informed all the political parties/Candidates to submit details of their Polling Agent/s for the Facilitation Centres to the respective Returning Officer on or before 19th February 2023. The Returning Officer is asked to compile the same and submit it to the DC & DEO's Office and also disseminate this information to the candidates and their agents.

The DC & DEO also informed the Polling Agents to be present at the location/dates mentioned to witness the same. It is informed that no person will be allowed to carry a postal ballot out of the Facilitation Centre. 

The dates and facilitation centers for different categories of polling personnel are as follows:-

On 20th Feb 2023:- facilitation centre for 10th IRB Personnel will be at 10th IRB Camp Zadima, 4th NAP Personnel at 4th NAP Camp Thizama, Government Drivers requisitioned for election duty will be at DB's Court, DC Office, Kohima.

On 21st Feb 2023:- facilitation centre for Police headquarters will be at PHQ, and DEF, Home guards, and Fire & Emergency Service will be at SP Office Kohima.

On 22nd Feb 2023:- facilitation centre for Presiding Officer, 1st Polling, 2nd Polling, 3rd Polling, VVPAT Personnel, and Grade IV will be at Kohima College, and Private Drivers requisitioned for election duty will be at DB's Court DC Office, Kohima.

On 23rd Feb 2023:- DB's Court DC Office Kohima will be the Facilitation Centre for DC&DEO Staff of Kohima, CEO's Staff, Nodal Officers of Department, Sector Magistrates, EEM Team, MCMC Team, Control Room/Centre, Liaison Officers, and Polling Personnel who have applied Form 12 but are Exempted from election duty.

On 24th Feb 2023:- Facilitation Centre for personnel on election duty who have missed out on the above-mentioned date will be at DB's Court DC Office Kohima.
