Deputy Commissioner Longleng has informed the General Public of Longleng District of the c-Vigil App which stands for Citizens' Vigilance. It is an online mobile application designed by the Election Commission of India providing opportunities for citizens to report any violence of Model Code of Conduct/Expenditure during the General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023.

C-VIGIL denotes a Vigilant Citizen and the protective and responsible role He/She Can play in the conduct of free and fair elections.

How to use?

(1). Go to Google Play/ App Store - Search for C-VIGIL -> Download and install (2). Sign in by using your mobile number and OTP or sign in as Anonymous (without giving your identity) (3). Enter your mobile number (4). Tap on send OTP (One-time password) (5). Enter OTP and verify mobile number (6). On using the mobile screen, enter your Name, address, State, District, Assembly, and Pincode (7). Select the check box and click on Verify now icon How to file a complaint? (8). Capture a photo or video of the MCC/Expenditure violation incident on the C-VIGIL Application (9). Preview Capture Picture/Video (10). Enter the Additional Location information to help in the identification of the exact location by a field team (11). Select the Nature of the complaint (12). Enter the precise description of the incident in the provided space.> Click to submit after entering mandatory fields.
