In pursuance of Section 130, 134 B of the Representation of People Act, 1951, and the other guidelines issued by ECI, DC & DEO Peren, Vineet Kumar has ordered that:

  1. No campaign-related posters or banners on public or private property should be placed, within 100 meters of the Polling booth.
  2. There would be a prohibition on the use of loudspeakers, megaphones, etc, or shouting or otherwise acting in a disorderly manner within 100 meters of a Polling station.
  3. Mobile phones, cordless phone, etc is not allowed within a 100 meters radius of a Polling station. This restriction does not apply to personnel on election duty.
  4. None except the authorized security personnel can enter within 100 meters of any polling station armed. Security personnel attached to any person is not allowed inside the polling booth except for a person covered under Z+ Security which is one security person in simple clothes and with concealed weapons.

 

A person violating this order would be liable for legal action under various sections of RPA, 1951, and IPC.
