Good evening,


As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 889 samples have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 872 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 17 samples are awaited. In addition a total of 11 samples have been tested by Truenat and all are negative.


Today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister had a meeting with the Civil Societies and various tribal Hohos at the Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chumukedima where discussions were held regarding the return of the stranded citizens of Nagaland to the State and the COVID-19 situation. The Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Hon’ble Minister for PHED, Hon’ble Advisor for Power, Hon’ble Advisor for Food & Civil Supplies and LM & CP and Hon’ble Advisor for Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs.


I would like to inform that it has been decided by the State Government that any stranded person of Nagaland outside the state who has already registered in the Returnees Declaration Form before 12 noon on 11th May 2020, and presently staying outside the North Eastern States (Nagaland citizens stranded in Sikkim will be allowed to apply), and who voluntarily opts to stay back where he/ she is at present, will be given a one- time assistance of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand). Anyone who wants to stay back and avail this one- time assistance may go to the iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in portal and fill up the ONE TIME ASSISTANCE form by providing the requisite details.


I again appeal to those people who are returning to the State, to register themselves in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland- Visitors App which is available for android users. As for iOS users or any user having a problem they can contact the toll free helpline No-1800-345-0019 for technical support.
