In view of the onset of Monsoon season and the meeting held on 16th May 2023 with regard to monsoon preparedness, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar has informed that there will be a mass social work across the district on 3rd June 2023 to clear off the clogged drainages, jungle clearance, etc. Therefore, Administrators, Town Councils, Heads of Offices, all Village Council Chairman, and Public leaders have been requested to carry out the social work in their respective areas. This voluntary exercise is required to reduce damage caused to roads due to clogged drainages.

A separate instruction will be issued for all Heads of Office.
