The Deputy Commissioner Longleng M. Shayung Phom has informed to all the parents/guardians of the returnees from outside the state to report at the COVID-19 war room with effect from 18th May 2020 for the purpose of signing an "undertaking on quarantine". Further the parents/guardians are also asked to submit the following items to be used by their child/children/relatives during the Quarantine period. 1. Blankets 2. Pillows 3. Mattress 4. Bedsheets & pillow covers 5. Buckets & mugs 6. Mosquito net (if available). Or Contact COVID-19 War room numbers: 9612338646 / 7085961147 for any queries. 

The Deputy Commissioner also informed all the village council chairman and ward presidents of Longleng town to report the new arrivals of new person/persons at their respective jurisdiction to COVID-19 War Room contact number. (9612338646/7085961147) as it is anticipated that they will be coming from the red zones which is highly vulnerable for infection to COVID-19.
