Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has notified the cancellation of the Title "Letter Mart" registered with Registrar of Newspaper for India (RNI) Regd No. Nageng/2016/69894 as per Section 8 of the PRB Act, 1867 from the date of issuing this Notice dated 15th June 2023.

The Notice of Cancellation was issued with regard to "Letter Mart" for failing to report/submit Claims and Objections and for non-filing of Annual Statement for the last three years consecutively with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Office of Registrar of Newspapers of India, New Delhi as per Section 19D of the PRB Act 1867.

The Notice also stated that with regard to the cancellation, a Public Notice on cancellation of the non-existent publication under Kohima district which has registered with the RNI was issued on 1/10/2018 to report/submit "Claims and Objections" (if any) in writing within 1 (one) month from the publication.
