In pursuance of Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy Order No. F 1-23/2023-NAT dated 23rd June 2023, the web portal for online self-nomination by teachers is open from 23-06-2023 and the last date of submission is 15-07-2023. The condition of eligibility of teachers for consideration of the National Teachers Award is revised to 10 years of regular service.

         In this regard, teachers who have contributed to the improvement of the quality of education through their commitment and industry and also enriched the lives of their students can submit self-nominate themselves before the prescribed last date of submission. Further details may be obtained from the web portal http://nationalawardstoteachers.education.gov.in.

Hence, all DEOs/Sr. SDEOs/SDEOs have been requested to ensure wide publicity in their respective jurisdictions.
