The pre-harvest festival of the Ao Naga, Tsungremmong, will be celebrated at Mangmetong Village on 2nd August 2023. The celebration programme is being organized by the Village Council, Mangmetong, in honor of the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan.

Along with the Governor, the festival will be graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y. Patton. Students of GHS Mangmetong will handle the reception of the guests at the village gate, after which the village youth will escort them to the venue (Er. Akangmeren Playground, Mangmetong).

Short speeches will be delivered by Advisor, Soil & Water Conservation, IPR, Imkong L. Imchen, and Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji. The program also includes Tsungremmong Festivities and Feast.
