Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, in a public notice, informed that a joint meeting was held on 20th July 2023 at the Additional Deputy Commissioner Office, Jalukie, with the Village Council of Heningkunglwa and New Ngwalwa, along with NZPO and ZOAN, regarding the 2-lane National Highway 129A Package IV. It was agreed that the two villages have given their NOC for the construction of NH129A in the disputed area (Chainage 169.050 to 173.850, 4.8 km).

The DC also mentioned that the damage compensation amount will be kept in a separate account operated by Deputy Commissioner Peren and will be released in due course.

Therefore, all property owners in the above-mentioned stretch have been directed to vacate their properties to enable the execution of works.
