Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Vineet Kumar IAS, has issued an advisory notification to the general public regarding the outbreak of Conjunctivitis (Eye Flu) in the Peren District. The advisory aims to ensure the health and safety of the public while containing the spread of the infection. The Deputy Commissioner advises frequent hand washing and the use of sanitizers as preventive measures. Additionally, individuals are encouraged to avoid touching and rubbing their eyes and are advised against sharing towels and handkerchiefs.

The advisory suggests cleaning eyeglasses frequently using alcohol disinfectant and recommends refraining from using swimming pools during this outbreak. Close contact with infected individuals should also be avoided. Educational institutions, both government and private, have been directed to monitor and manage the spread of the infection among students. Symptomatic students are to be granted leave to prevent further transmission. Institutions with high case numbers are to report to the relevant administrative officer and suspend classes if necessary.
