Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has notified that the updation exercise of the Non-Naga Local Indigenous Nepali/Gorkha of Kohima district shall be kept in abeyance till clarity from the Government on the further course of action to be taken by the Office is received. 

The notification was issued in supersession of the Office Notification of even number dated 17/08/2023 and given the objections received from various Tribal Hohos and other organizations.
