In pursuance to the government directives with regard to launching of "Swatch Diwali Shubh Diwali", campaign from 6th- 12th November 2023 under the Swach Bharat mission 2.0. Additional Deputy commissioner, Tening, Lemlila Sangtam has informed all the public and citizens of Tening Town to make this Diwali a "Green Diwali", by banning single use plastic and fire crackers in and around the town jurisdictions.

Further, the citizens have been requested to celebrate the Festival of Light meaningfully by minimizing waste/garbage/noise etc for a healthier celebration. This directives is for strict compliance from all concerned.
