Indecent rain destroys one house at Chessore Town, Noklak bond Truck fallen to landslide near K. Wungthu village

The fury of summer monsoon continues in Chessore area under Shamator district. Till date the roads are completely cut off from rest of the state, the department of NPWD starts operations by clearing road from Chessore town towards Shamator via Huker, Kephor and Shiponger Village. A house belonging to Obed Yimkhiung resident of Keku colony, Chessore town was damaged due to landslide. Meanwhile, a truck struck at NH. 202 near K. Wongthu village because of loose soil was fallen down approximately 300 meters below from the road. No loss of life was reported from both the accidents.
