The National Teachers’ Award is meant to celebrate the unique contribution of the finest teachers in the country and to honour those teachers who through their commitment and industry, have not only improved the quality of school education but have also enriched the lives of their students and thereby strengthen the nation.

The guidelines for National Teachers’ Awards have been revised last year. The eligibility of teachers for consideration of awards is 10 years regular service, inclusive of teachers from Private Schools affiliated to State Board. The Web Portal for online self nomination is http://nationalawardstoteachers.education,gov.in and is open from 27.06.2024 to 15.07.2024.

In this regards, all DEOs/Sr.SDEOs/SDEOs are requested to give wide publicity to the teachers to ensure maximum participation.
