Company Commandant, Home Guards, Civil Defense & State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Mokokchung, Lanutemjen informed that the mortal remains of Late Purtemsu (40 years) of Akhoya village, Mokokchung, who was swept away by strong water current at Dikhu river on 2nd August 2024, was recovered on 5th August 2024. The body was later handed over to the relatives of the deceased.

The recovery action was possible due to the immediate response by the 15(Fifteen) SDRF personnel under the command of H. Kiyekhe, Platoon Commander and Hony. ASI, Rongsennungba.
